Located in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
Between the Parish Church and the Consistory.
The monolith represents Formentera’s own activity during so many years, agriculture. Through a couple of farmers.
It was installed on May 4, 2003 and since then it has presided over the urban landscape of the Plaza in all the events held here.
At the foot of the sculpture you can read the following:
“In honor of our greatest men and women who with their effort did so much for this town” Frumentaria 1730
